Schools interested in arranging for a student advocacy training (should have at least 15-20 students) should contact the Student Affairs Office at 301-670-1419 or email Karen_L_Crawford@mcpsmd.org.

As part of their general assemblies or as a special evening program, the Montgomery County Region of the Maryland Association of Student Councils (MCR) - the high school county-level student government group - or the Montgomery County Junior Councils (MCJC) - the middle school county-level student government group offers student advocacy training. Announcements are included in the Student Affairs Office newsletter (link to page) and sent directly to student government advisors.
