NEW advisors may choose from the following dates/times to attend a mandatory meeting with the coordinator of Student Affairs (as outlined in the MCEA stipend requirements for sponsoring SGA): 3:00-4:30pm or 7:00-8:30pm on Tuesday September 15, Tuesday September 22, or Monday October 12. The meeting will be held in the Student Affairs Office, Lakelands Park Middle School, room 120. Important information for the year will be covered.
With three dates and two different times for each date, hopefully all NEW advisors will be
able to attend. Veteran advisors are welcome, but not required to attend. To register your attendance at one of the meetings, go to click here (no password is needed - just click on “request”).
The required Student Member of the Board of Education
(SMOB) Election Officials Training is listed on
the SMOB calendar so that you will have plenty of time
to reserve a four-hour substitute for that day. Since
this training is during the school day, one advisor
from each secondary school is given a half-day of professional
leave to attend with his/her 3-4 student election-judges
