Student Government Advisor Training
  Secondary SGA Advisors

NEW advisors may choose from the following dates and times to attend a mandatory meeting with the coordinator of Student Affairs (as outlined in the MCEA stipend requirements for sponsoring SGA):

3:30-5:30pm or 6:30-8:30pm

Tuesday,September 27, 2011
Wednesday, October 26, 2011

The meetings will be held in the Student Affairs Office,Lakelands Park Middle School, room 120. Important information for the year will be covered. With four dates and two different times for each date, all NEW advisors should be able to attend. Veteran advisors are welcome, but not required to attend.

Elementary SGA Advisors

Elementary SGA advisors are welcome to attend a voluntary workshop from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on either Tuesday, October 18, 2011, or Thursday, November 17, 2011. We will cover calendaring (program ideas), project planning, structures of SGA, etc.

SMOB Election Officials Training

The “Student Member of the Board of Education (SMOB) Election Officials Training” is being held in the evening at Carver Educational Services Center. Two evening dates are offered. One advisor from each secondary school needs to attend with his/her 3-4 student election-judges (click here for detailed training dates and times).
