Goals of the Revision
- Ensuring this MCPS regulation is aligned with the state regulation
- Maximizes citation of other regulations rather than repeating content of other regulations
- Minimizes over-explaining

Structure
When a regulation is revised, previous language may be used. Language that is omitted is shown in strike-outs. As the regulation is revised based on feedback, all edits are shown with new language in italics and omitted language shown in strike-outs. Language may be omitted because it is in other regulations or is not in alignment with existing policies and regulations or it is included in existing procedures.

Capture Sheet for Feedback
The capture sheet (Word document) is to be used to list stakeholder comments and considerations. It is important that the page(s) and line number(s) be included. Please make comments as precise as possible. If the stakeholder is representing an organziation, group, or office, please be sure to list that on the sheet. Capture sheets should be emailed to Mrs. Crawford, Karen_L_Crawford@mcpdmd.org by the deadlines below. It is encourgaged that stakeholders not wait to email the sheets. Stakeholders may email multiple sheets as further review and considerations are made.
