Give a Little Time.....Make a Big Difference

Middle and high school students in Montgomery County Public Schools continue to have a positive impact on their communities through involvement in service learning. They are meeting the service-learning graduation requirement while learning new skills, strengthening their character, practicing leadership, considering future courses and careers.

November and December are especially good months to focus on 'giving a little time and making a big difference.' There are numerous opportunities to serve and learn! Check out the organizations tagged, "Approved SSL MCPS" and the opportunities tagged, "MCPS SSL Approved" on this website. Simply click "Find Opportunities Now" below.

Submit this form to your school’s SSL coordinator BEFORE the activity if the organization or activity is not listed as Approved for SSL.

Verification Form (80K PDF)
Submit this form to your school's SSL coordinator by the end of each semester when service is performed.
