The Department of Shared Accountability conducted an evaluation of the Studying Skillful Teaching (SST) training program during the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 school years. This brief summarizes the effectiveness of the Studying Skillful Teaching (SST) training on improving elementary students' reading and mathematics achievement as measured by Academic Progress-Reading, and Maryland School Assessment.
