Announcements (Community Leadership in Cyber Knowledge & Safety) Training Thursday, May 29, 2008, 3 - 4:30 pm  Perry Hall High School, 4601 Ebenezer Road, Baltimore, MD 21236 (Baltimore County)  The Safe and Drug-Free Schools Summer Symposium will take place on June 16, 17, and 18 at the University of Maryland Shady Grove.  Registration is on PDO. Descriptive brochures will be mailed in May. Stipends will be provided for eligible staff, including members of Student Assistance Teams and security staff that are members of the Student Assistance team.  (download brochure) Professional staff may elect to participate in the Safe and Drug-Free Schools Symposium as a 2 credit CPD course, HE-12. CPD participants must attend June 16, 17, 18 and 19.  Staff development charges $45 charge for the 2 credit CPD course. No stipend will be provided for CPD participants. The Maryland Adolescent Survey (MAS) is complete.  100% of the classes asked to participate in the survey did so.  Accolades to all of the Student Assistance Team Leaders that were responsible for making this happen.  Results of the MAS will be out later this year.
