Magazine Subscription and Newspaper Ordering

Important Update:

DMM will no longer receive W.T. Cox orders centrally. Schools/offices will now be responsible for receiving in iProcurement when subscription delivery has begun.

Ordering season begins every May.
Subscriptions should be ordered in the Financial Management System (FMS).
Schools will be notified by email when FMS is available for FY12 orders.

Place and approve your orders by the first week of June.
This will ensure a September start date. You may place orders after this time, but delivery may be delayed.

If you need to cancel a subscription early, contact the vendor BEFORE you cancel. All subscription orders are paid in advance and some do not allow refunds.

Title of magazine(s) and number of issues
Description of the problem(s)

Here's What to Do:

First, contact the vendor directly. Email is the preferred method of communication.

Have the following information available when you contact them:

Description of the problem(s)

Email Procurement only if contact with the vendor hasn't resolved your issue.
If the vendor can't resolve your issue, please forward your vendor emails to the Division of Procurement at procurement@mcpsmd.org. If you contacted the vendor by phone, please email the above information and details on any actions taken to Procurement.
