Students learn factual information and develop lifetime skills in understanding mental health; tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs; personal and consumer health; and other topics of importance. Although this course (or the school-based equivalent) is required for graduation, parental permission is required for students to participate in some course content. This course carries .5 credits and is offered in a three-week summer format with two required face-to-face lab sessions. Course tuition fee is $310 per half credit course. Tuition assistance is available, based upon financial need. Students are advised to register for Online Health for Summer 2010 in January of 2010. |
