About the Festival
Montgomery County Schools Media Festival Competitions (MCSMF)
is held each year to stimulate student interest and
involvement in media production. MCSMF provides an
opportunity for students to showcase their work to an
audience, to have it critiqued by a panel of experts, and to
be inspired by the work of other students.
Eligibility of Productions: From each
local school, only one entry per competition category from
each grade level group may be entered. The categories are competition specific.
The committee has the right to refuse to critique any entry
not complying with the MCSMF rules.
Eligibility of Participants:
Participants must be students, Pre-K through 12th grade
attending a public, private, parochial, or institutional
school in Montgomery County, Maryland.
