Never run out of stamps again!

Joining the Blue Bag Postage Program allows you to send U.S. Mail through the PONY. For a nominal $200.00 start-up fee (a one-time expense to cover the cost of bags and postage machine), your school can enroll in a new time-saving way to send out U.S. Mail. Once enrolled, simply transfer money into a DMM postage account and place all U.S. Mail into the blue bag we provide for daily pick up.

DMM Blue Bag Postage Account Information:

Please use account number 01.35102.000.10.503068.000000.0000.0000.00 when transferring funds in the Financial Management System (FMS) to the Blue Bag Postage account. It is very important that you include your school name and the term 'Blue Bag Postage' in the journal entry description field to be sure that the funds are credited to the correct Blue Bag member! Follow these guidelines for same-day delivery to the U.S. Mail Facility:

Only MCPS mail will be accepted. Personal mail for the U.S. Postal Service will be returned to your school.

Envelopes must have the school name as the return address. If you are preparing a mailing where you do not wish the school name to be indicated (such as interims) use this address:

Large mailings should be placed in a separate box outside the DMM 'Blue Bag' with all pieces positioned the same direction and secured with rubber bands in bundles of approximately 50 envelopes each. (Click Here to see Procedures for Processing Unsealed Envelopes).

All envelopes placed in the 'Blue Bag' must be sealed. Unsealed envelopes will be returned.
