How do I access the Video Services Catalog?

How do I book a video or DVD?
Click Here to browse the new Web/Max online video catalog as a guest. Once you've made your choice(s), give it to your Video Coordinator. Your Video Coordinator will visit the Web/Max Booking page to submit your video and/or DVD request.


How soon can I book my videos?
You may book up to one month in advance. However, if your video is part of a "series" it can be booked anytime during the school year.


How soon can I book Family Life videos?
You may book a Family Life video anytime during the school year.


How soon can I expect to receive a video?
If it is available and your request is placed before noon, you should receive it the next day.


How do I cancel a video request?
Have your Video Coordinator contact Video Services directly at 301-279-3101. Or, have them Click Here to email your cancellation, (include your name and video number). Or, they may PONY your cancellation (include your name and video number) to Video Services.


How do I rebook a video request?
Have your Video Coordinator contact Video Services directly at 301-279-3101. Or, have them Click Here to email your rebooking request (include your name & video number). Or, they may PONY your request (include your name & video number) to Video Services.


How do I extend a video booking?

What should I do if I never receive my video?
Have your Video Coordinator contact Video Services immediately at 301-279-3101.
Please DO NOT wait until the day the video is needed at the school!


Can a parent preview MCPS Family Life videos?
Contact Evaluation and Selection at 301-279-3272.


How can I request "Closed Captioned" videos?
Always indicate "closed captioned" on your original booking request when needed. There are some videos that do not have this option, but when at all possible, we will provide it.

Where can I order blank videotapes?
The Supply Warehouse stocks 30, 60 and 120 minute tapes available for online ordering through the Financial Management System (FMS). Click Here for the Supply Warehouse Catalog (see items 0831185, 0831186 and 0831187 for details).
