Welcome to the 25th season of Quizmaster Challenge, MCPS' own academic quiz show in which teams of the finest minds from MCPS high schools compete against each other in a question-and-answer battle.
Quizmaster Challenge is taped weekly at Rockville High School under the direction of Michael Bailey, Tim Hibberd and their crew of talented students.
For our 2012-13 season, we have 22 teams competing. The 12 winning teams will be seeded based on highest point totals and selected to compete in the second phase of the academic tournament the Play-off round. There are also four wildcard spots available to the top-scoring runner-up teams. Each of the following rounds; Play-off, Quarter-Final, and Final are single elimination rounds in which the winning teams of each match-up will advance until the winner is determined.
