This program follows 10,000 MCPS second graders on an interactive, musical journey. In their music classes, students learn about the orchestra, the family of instruments and rehearse a song in preparation for a concert at the new Music Center at Strathmore Hall. Concert day highlights include the images and sounds of the National Philharmonic orchestra, two Montgomery County high school student soloists, the grandeur of the new concert hall, and most importantly all the second graders enjoying the concert and performing their song with the orchestra. |
