MCPS TV is located in the lower level of the Carver Educational Services Center. CESC is a large building with many complex halls and passageways which can be confusing for folks who have never been here before. So, whether you're a first time guest appearing on a show or an MCPS TV staff member that can't remember where they work, the following directions should help you find our facility once you make it to CESC.
Facing the building you will be able to see the loading dock. Just to the right of the loading dock is an entrance marked "Lower Level." Enter through that door and go down the hall. At the end of the hall, turn left and go up the ramp and through the double doors. Turn right, and proceed to room 27. It's the first room on the right and has TV monitors mounted on the wall just outside the door.
Looking at the building from the front parking lot you'll see the flagpole area and, just beyond that, the main entrance. Just inside the door of the lobby to the right is a half flight of stairs that lead down. At the bottom of the stairs, turn left and follow the hallway to the "T" intersection. Turn the corner to the left and again to the right. Behind you is the soda machine. The first thing on your right is a set of double doors to another stairway. Follow the stairs down and into the next hallway. Turn right and proceed to room 27. It's the second door on the left with the TV monitors mounted on the wall just outside it. |
