InterACT Team
Who is referred to InterACT?

The InterACT Team serves students through age twenty-one. InterACT provides consultation to MCPS staff on behalf of students who are:

• nonspeaking or severely limited in speech and/or

• unable to produce written output due to severe physical disabilities

and whose needs exceed the resources available at the school level.

How are Referrals Made?

A request for Preview can be made by the school team. If ongoing consultation is recommended, a team member is assigned and a timeline established to begin collaboration with the school team.
