Specific Project Tasks

- List 3 things you learned
- Use audiofiles with students or a student educationally in any way you choose (see the Podcasting Template (37K doc) for some ideas)
- Share what you did
- Earn 5 E-TIPS hours (see the scoring rubric (12K pdf))
Who is a good candidate for this project?
MCPS School-based staff members who
- work with students in any capacity
- have the computer skills to navigate to a website and listen to podcasts
- are interested in APPLYING the concepts of podcasting to education
- have a basic understanding of the technical skills required to record audio files or are able to learn these skills independently (see the Quick Guides and Podcasting Resources)
What support will HIAT provide for this project?

Scoring Rubric (12K pdf)
Documentation required:
- List the titles of the episodes of Kidcast you listened to (at least 3)
- Give a brief description of at least 3 "nuggets" that you can relate to and explain how each one pertains to your work with students
- Explain what you did with students and the educational impact
- Provide at least one audio file from the project
