Educators Using Technology to Improve the Performance of Students
 |
Take E-TIPS Classes
Several departments in MCPS offer E-TIPS classes. You earn E-TIPS hours for attending the class and completing an assignment. All E-TIPS classes focus on how to use technology with students in the classroom. |
Sign up for all classes on the PDO (just put "tips" in the course title field to find them)
 |
Do an E-TIPS Project
The following projects allow active users of technology to earn E-TIPS hours by sharing their skills with others or taking on leadership roles as coaches and trainers. |
 |
Network with other E-TIPS Educators
One advantage of participating in E-TIPS is that you have the opportunity to network with other educators in the county who are also interested in increasing their use of technology in the classroom. |
- Google Group - An email list that allows you to ask questions, share ideas, or just keep up with E-TIPS news.
- Diigo Group - A weblink sharing site that provides you with annotated weblinks relevant to teachers. Explore the links or join the group to share more of your own. Comment on the resources and see the comments of other group members.
- Newsletter - subscribe to receive the monthly HIAT newsletter.
