Research shows that professional learning makes the most difference when it is conducted as a part of a group of colleagues reflecting meaningfully together on what they do.

Criteria

  • PLC has at least 5 members
  • PLC meets at least monthly for at least 6 months
  • Maintain meeting agendas and notes
  • Members use some other means of collaborating/communicating between meetings, such as informal discussions with each other, online collaboration and reflection, and/or a structure for sharing resources
