The Home and Hospital Teaching program provides instructional services to students, at home or in hospitals, who are unable to attend a regular school program due to a physical or emotional condition.
A student receives a minimum of six hours of instruction per week. Instruction takes place either in the home, library, or other public facility. A responsible adult, 21 years of age or older, is required to be present during instruction time in the home.
To apply for this service, parents MUST complete and submit the appropriate application form:
- Physical reason(s): MCPS Form 311-15 OR
- Emotional reason(s): MCPS Form 311-15e
