 How can I as an MCPS staff member
view my student's scores on the Map-R reports
website? |
Go
to the NEWEA website (http://www.nwea.org) and
click on the log into reports site button. Log
in using your Map-R user id and password that
was sent to you (if you don't know your user
name and password call the Help Desk at 301-517-5800).
Once you have logged into the reports website
click on the teacher reports link. On the next
screen select the term (example Winter 2007)
and click the submit button to see the report.
Note: Reports should
be available 24 hours after the scores have
been uploaded by the schools proctor.

 Why do I get a "script run
debug error" when I access certain web sites
from my Map-R computer? |
| In
Tech Mod 04-05 schools, there is an application
that runs called IE Tweaks. This application object
runs so that the Map-R Internet settings will
be set on all of the workstations. As a result,
when you access certain sites on the internet,
you may get a "script run debug error."
All you need
to do is click No, and continue to view the
Internet site.

 Can I test students on my TAA computer? |
| No,
it is recommended that you do not test any students
on your TAA computer. |
 What should I do if a computer
loses power while a student is taking the test? |
| Log
back into the TestTaker application. The student
should be able to resume the test from where he/she
left off. If not, the student will have to start
over from the beginning. |
 I am receiving error messages when
trying to upload scores to the NWEA server from
my TAA computer. |
| Make
sure that there are no computers that are still
logged into the TestTaker application, and that
you are also logged out of the other TAA computer.
If you are still unable to upload, contact the
Help Desk. |
 I am able to add a student to the
TAA, but I am unable to pull up a test for him/her. |
- Log into TAA and click
Students, then Locate Student.
- Enter student ID,
then click Submit.
- Make sure that the
school is the same school they are enrolled
in.
- Click Move, then click
OK when the dialogue box comes up.
- Click OK again when
asked to identify the path (Inst1_Vol1/Apps/NWEA/TestTkr_DAT)
- Log out, then log
back in again. The child's test should appear.
- Check Elementary Subject
Assignment in OASIS to ensure that the child
is properly placed with the correct teacher
and section number.

 I did a Ctrl + Shift + P to pause
a test. When I tried to bring it up again, my
password didn't work. |

password is case sensitive, so make sure the Caps
Lock is not on. |
 I want to verify that my scores
were uploaded to NWEA, but I do not want to wait
24 hours. |

the Help Desk. We can verify whether or not NWEA
received your data. |
 How do I invalidate a completed
test? |
| Fill
out the NWEA
Problem Item Report Form. You can either email
it to ItemReport@nwea.org,
or fax it to 503-639-7873. Remember, you must
have permission from your Principal before sending
it to NWEA. |
