The MCPS grants specialist assists with the development of program ideas, budgets, and evaluation plans and reviews proposals for quality and compliance with application instructions. In addition, the grants specialist provides information, training, and technical assistance on seeking grants to MCPS personnel. Most grant-related training is offered in two-hour segments. Training is tailor made to the audience, be they beginners, persons with limited proposal writing experience, or experienced proposal writers.
As of February 1, 2007, all individual and group training will be conducted in MCPS schools and arranged by appointment. If you wish to arrange for grants-related training at your school, click on the "Register Me for Grants Training" link below. Provide a brief description of the training you seek that includes the dates and times that you would like to receive training, along with an estimate of the number of persons expected to participate.
