Sponsorship and Donations
The Back-to-School Fair is an annual event presented by Montgomery County Schools, with key support from businesses, community organizations and individuals. This year, as MCPS families continue to face economic challenges, we want every child who visits the fair to go home with a backpack. Your contributions are essential in helping us meet this goal. Funds also are greatly needed to pay for bus transportation for families from sites throughout the county, tents, water and refreshments. In addition to funding, donors may wish to contribute door prizes or offer children’s activities.
A range of sponsorship levels is available. In gratitude for your support of our students and the Back-to-School Fair, donors will be recognized in a variety of ways.

Be a Sponsor or Donor
To become a corporate donor for the Back-to-School Fair, fill out our Corporate Donor Form.
To become a community or individual donor, fill out our Community/Individual Donor Form.
Donate Prizes or School Supplies
If you would like to contribute door prizes, fill out our Prize Donation Form.
If you would like to donate school supplies, fill out our School Supply Donation Form.
New backpacks filled with new school supplies can be dropped off at the Department of Family and Community Partnerships at 850 Hungerford Drive, Room 50, Rockville between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (directions)
To donate money to be used for school supplies:
- Checks should be made payable to MCPS Educational Foundation (indicate “Back-to-School Fair” in the memo section.) Please mail checks to the Department of Family and Community Partnerships, 850 Hungerford Drive, Room 50, Rockville, MD 20850.
- PayPal donations can be submitted online (indicate "Back-to-School Fair" in the message area).
