MCPS, Montgomery College and the University System of Maryland/Universities at Shady Grove Partnership
Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), Montgomery College (MC) and the University System of Maryland(USM)/Universities at Shady Grove (USG), have a joint interest in producing citizens who have the interpersonal and intellectual skills to be competitive in a global economy.
We believe that all students matter and are entitled to the opportunity to access rigorous educational opportunities.
Each institution is committed to innovative reform initiatives designed to raise the level of student achievement, academic performance and overall success. The expectations for educational excellence in Montgomery County require expansive pathways to postsecondary education.
With the goal of working together to provide such pathways and ensure the college readiness of MCPS students, the MCPS/MC/USM(USG) Partnership coordinates a variety of programs, activities, projects, and initiatives (PAPIs) that serve the overall development and academic needs of students. The PAPIs below reflect the scope of the Partnership's work.
