New - For Printing and Scanning Answer Sheets

Procedures for printing and scanning of answer sheets for final exams in Achievement Series differ slightly from the procedures for end of unit assessments. To learn about these procedures, please view the simulations for printing and scanning of answer sheets below or read one of the handouts.

Important Information About Printing and Scanning Answer Sheets

Computers and Brother multifunction scanner/printers were shipped to middle and high schools for the Achievement Series project. The test answer sheet forms are to be printed to the Gestetner multifunction copier or to another high volume laser printer. The workstations are configured to print to the Brother DCP 8060 printers, but the best print option is the Gestetner copier or other high volume printer. Print The Answer Sheets directly from the computer provided for this purpose. Instructions on how to set-up the Gestetner Multifunction copier are posted on the User Support Specialist Conference (Class Server). Your local school User Support Specialist can also contact the Help Desk or the Technology Consulting Team to get directions for configuring the scanner workstations.

How to Login to the Scan Station
All users log into the scanning machine using the same user name and password given to the schools during training at CTI . Once they are logged into the computer, teachers can use the achievement series login information they received in their e-mail to log into Scan Station.

Note: For final exams, schools should follow the guidelines for printing answer sheets as outlined in the Testing Coordinator Manual for the 2007 Final Exams.
