Course Overview:
This course is voluntary for middle school teachers for whom IMS training is not mandatory. It is also available for all elementary teachers, administrators, and IDAs as an initial introduction to IMS, or as a refresher training. During this three hour self-guided online session,
you will learn how to view standards and indicators,
view instructional resources, generate data reports,
and access classroom data using IMS.

What is the Instructional Management System? The Instructional Management System (IMS) is a standards-based learning management system that uses the web to help you better montior student achievement toward mastery of skills and knowledge prescribed by the curriculum framework. You are able to access IMS through any Internet connection, however only authorized users will have access to this secure system. Privileges to view, change, add, and delete information is strictly managed.
