Early Childhood News

Registration for 2008-2009 School Year (Posted on 2/26/08)

Registration for MCPS Prekindergarten and Head Start classes for the 2008-2009 school year will begin on March 1, 2008. For more information about the Prekindergarten/Head Start program and about registration requirements, please visit the Prekindergarten/Head Start registration information page on this site. If your child will be five years old on or before September 1, 2008, your child may attend kindergarten in Fall 2008. Kindergarten Orientation dates are now available. To view the list of dates, select the link below labeled "Kindergarten Orientation Schedule for Spring 2008." Please call your child's home elementary school to schedule an appointment to attend.
