"Every Educator - Every Student - Every Day"
The New Teacher Induction program is excited to announce special summer training opportunities for educators new to MCPS. These are specifically designed to introduce new educators to the MCPS curriculum and the latest on-going assessment methods. New educators will be given strategies to create a positive classroom environment, to address diversity, and to integrate students of all abilities and learning levels (including English Language Learners) in classroom instruction. Educators hired by MCPS for the 2009/2010 school year and/or educators hired after last year’s orientation are encouraged to attend. In fact, 93.5% of the new educators who attended NEO in the last four years recommend that you attend!
