The focus of Module Four of Communicating High Expectations to Students is teacher feedback and grouping practices and how they impact student achievement. In Module Three you learned about specific teacher behaviors that communicate high expectations to students. Module Four centers on the features of effective feedback and the importance of distinguishing it from praise. You will also explore the research on effective grouping practices.

Learning activities will include online mini-lectures, research-based articles, "Ask the Expert" videos, and an online learning styles inventory.
