Determining Elapsed Time
Using Multiple Strategies

Reflective Tasks and Analyses

  • Lesson Analysis 1: Does the use of real life artifacts/materials- encourage the students’ to express a deeper understanding of elapsed time?( ie. Newspaper article, Judy clocks)
  • Lesson Analysis 2: How is questioning an effective strategy for directing students to self-correct their errors?

  • Reflective Task 1:  Consider and cite how the teachers offered students individual formative assessment of their performance during the Independent Practice section of the lesson.
