Goals of the Program

  • Implement the MCPS Program of Studies
  • Provide programming from birth through high school graduation
  • Provide appropriate instruction in the least restrictive environment
  • Provide communication options
  • Provide related services: audiology, speech, parent counseling, interpreting, assistive technology, transition services, assessment
  • Promote parent and community involvement
  • Meet the varied needs of a multicultural and diverse population

  • Sign language interpreters and Cued Speech transliterators
