Foundations of Automotive Technology
The Foundations of Automotive Technology is an entry-level program that gives students exposure to career opportunities and instructional competencies in the automotive repair fields. Automotive maintenance and basic servicing are the basis for the Automotive Service Assistance Program (ASAP). Students learn and demonstrate how to change oil, tires, wiper blades, lubrication, and auto-detailing plus simple auto body and auto technology repairs. Students gain valuable entry-level skills which will prepare them for immediate entry into the automotive industry or prepare them for further study in the Automotive Technology or Automotive Body Repair Technology programs.
