Academy Description:
Academy of Network Operations
Network Operations is an exciting program that helps students prepare for college information system majors and lucrative technical industry certifications.  Students prepare for CompTIA A+ Core Hardware, A+ Operating Systems, and Network+ certification exams through hands-on labs and instructions. CompTIA certification is a recognized industry standard for foundation-level information technology (IT) skills, and the skills learned are applicable to other certifications such as Microsoft’s MCSE, Cisco’s CCNA, and Novell’s CNE. Students explore current technologies related to PC hardware and operating systems, network design concepts, and the installation and administration of local and wide area networks. Articulated college credits may be earned through successful completion of the program.
