Be An Apprentice
Business & Finance

Want to learn the basics for operating your own business?  Using your own creative talents and energy, learn how to start your own profitable business.  Students will discover what it takes to start, market, operate, and make a profit in a business.  

Graphics Galore
Arts, Humanities, Media & Communications

Ever wonder how custom t-shirts are made?  Students will research the latest t-shirt design trends and develop their own design using industry-standard Adobe software.  Students will print their very own t-shirt on professional screen-printing equipment, all while learning the techniques of modern-day printing & graphic design.

Animation Alive
Arts, Humanities, Media & Communications

Create your own cartoon character!  Budding cartoonist will learn the art of animation by using high impact software, such as Adobe Flash Player.  Students will learn how to create cartoon characters using layers, tweens, motion, masking, sounds, and other industry techniques.

Kids in the Kitchen
Consumer Services & Hospitality

Young “chefs” will enter the world of professional cooking! They will work in a commercial kitchen and learn such basics as safety and sanitation, measurement, knife skills, and baking. 

Architectural Experts
Construction & Development

Discover the secrets behind the walls.  Students will explore basic principals of architecture through designing, drawing, and printing elevations of a house plan.  Students will use the latest technology in architectural design, AutoCAD 2008 to create real-life architectural plans.

Do It Yourself Detective
Biosciences

Come learn a variety of fun and creative forensic activities that students may duplicate at home.  Students will use regular household products to conduct experiments from fingerprinting to examining and measuring simulated blood spatters; there's something here for everyone.
