Plan for the Future Camp
2008

June 16-20, 2008 and June 23-27, 2008

What is Plan for the Future Summer Camp 2008?
Plan for the Future Summer Camp 2008 is a one-week, ½-day summer experience for middle school students (incoming 6th, 7th and 8th, and 9th grade students).

Students will have the opportunity to explore two appealing careers, and solve real-world challenges! Summer camp classes, set in an exploratory class or lab, are designed to challenge students and expose them to several facets of a career. Students can elect to attend one or more camps. Transportation to and from the camp location is the responsibility of participants.
Benefits to students
  • Real-life work challenges using problem solving skills
  • Small class ratio (limited to 22 students per class)
  • Expert instructors
  • Projects that kids can "take home" (where applicable)
  • Daily "hands-on" activities which focus on two (2) different careers
How do I apply? Registration and program selections are based on a "first-come, first serve basis." Brochures with applications will be sent home via backpack mail to current 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in early April. Registration can also be completed on-line by clicking on the desired school location below. A copy of the on-line application must be printed and mailed to the CTE office along with a check or money order for the tuition. Fee is $150.00 for each camp.

The application deadline is April 30, 2008.
