| Welcome to Montgomery County Public
School's (MCPS) volunteer program, the Connection Resource
Bank (CRB). MCPS teachers can use the CRB to access
the many volunteer resources in the community, who help
teachers make education and the curriculum "come alive"
by sharing their expertise and enthusiasm. We provide
speakers, tutors, mentors, judges, and consultants,
for teachers to enhance their curriculums. The CRB assists
teachers in planning Career Days, Science Fairs, Field
Trips and special events. We also provide guest speakers
for Teacher In-Service Training.
When you sign up with the Connection
Resource Bank, you volunteer to share your expertise
in whatever way makes you most comfortable. You are
given many choices about the way you provide your expertise.
You can sign up to be a speaker, tutor, judge, and/or
mentor. You can even pick the specific schools you wish
to go to. Best of all, your contributions enrich
instruction and provide hands-on learning experiences
for students.
