The Primary Years Programme (PYP), developed by the International
Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), is a comprehensive, inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning. Through an international perspective, the PYP helps students in Grades K-5 explore six themes across traditional academic subjects: Who are we? Where are we in time and place? How do we express ourselves? How does the world work? How do we organize ourselves? How do we share the planet? In doing so, students explore broad concepts across disciplines, acquire important skills and knowledge, and conduct research. In Grade 5, students complete an exhibition reflecting an area of interest and concern and reflecting an inquiry-based process
