Dictator's Officers

In The Photographic History of the Civil War, Volume 3, The Decisive Battles the officers are described as "the dictators of the Dictator." Moving from left to right, these officers (dressed in uniforms in the center and right side of the image) are identified as follows:
  • Captain F. A. Pratt (to the right of the ghostly figure in the middle of the picture)
  • Captain E. C. Dow (
  • Colonel H. L. Abbott, First Connecticut Heavy Artillery (in front of Captain Dow)
  • Major T. S. Trumbull
  • General H. J. Hunt, Chief of Artillery (in front of Major Trumbull)
