Includes lesson plans and web links. Great K-12 resource.

Women in American History by the Encyclopaedia Britannica

Women in America, 1820 to 1842
The experiences of women in the new republic as recorded by eighteen European travelers to the United States during the first half of the nineteenth century. The writings are organized both chronologically and topically, allowing readers to compare the writing of several authors on a given subject.

Women in World History
Interactive site full of information and resources about women's experiences in world history. Includes Female Heroes, Lessons, Reviews, Current Events, and Words of Wisdom.
