Waterways Connect Maryland and England

      The Spray plantation is located on a large creek. The creek flows into the St. Mary's River which in turn flows into the Potomac River, then into the Chesapeake Bay and finally into the Atlantic Ocean. This waterway makes it possible for Master Spray to get his heavy tobacco crop to market in England.
