DESCRIPTION: Docent-led tour of Paca House illustrates 18th century life in colonial Annapolis. Tour includes hands-on activities as well as a visit to the formal, walled, terraced "pleasure garden." Reserve as far in advance as possible, especially for April and May. It is possible to contact staff members through the web site. A new guided walking tour program is planned, to begin probably in spring 2000. "Revolutionary Annapolis" is constructed as a retelling of the story of William Paca's life, and has been designed to fit the revolution theme in grade 5 Social Studies. It is designed to take about 2 hours. The staff can also help facilitate additional Annapolis experience.
