DESCRIPTION AND RESOURCES

DESCRIPTION: The museum has an exhibition of lifestyles and communities that existed right after the Revolutionary War. Examples are: Virginia farmer, a Native American community, a New England merchant, and varied crafts people. Hands-on components. Must reserve the tour by mail or fax (202-357-3328) at least four weeks in advance. Self-guided brochure for ages 6-9 years and ages 10-13 years is also available.
