DESCRIPTION: See highly successful processing of recyclables at a county run center. Good pre- or post-visit following the study of recycling by individuals and the community. Helpful for assembly line, production study. The center is quite noisy; students will be provided with earplugs. The teacher should try to visit independently to get the idea of the facility ahed of time. No sandals; clothing should be appropriate for close observation of recycling. Can combine with tour of the Montgomery County Transfer Station on same property.
