DESCRIPTION: A wide variety of nature topics. Current topics include "Sensory Hike," "Native American Games," and "Conservation and Recycling." New topics are added from time to time. The staff also offers "Leaders Choice" to design a tour to meet a special teacher requests. Call for details. There is no bus permit required for a visit to the Locust Grove Nature Center only , but if you plan to go to the play areas or picnic area at Cabin John Regional Park, a bus permit is required (301-495-2525). Call the last Tues. in Aug. to book Sept. 1 to Jan. 31. Call the first Tuesday. in Jan. to book Feb. to June. All programs require reservations. All appointments must be confirmed by group leader.
