DESCRIPTION: This is a visit to a low-income tenant farm family of the late colonial period. Observe typical 18th century agricultural and domestic skills depending on the season. Book as far in advance as possible, if possible, the season prior to your visit. There is a three-day weekend program for students called "18th Century Skills." Teachers who wish to have their classes participate in that must take the Environmental Living Skills course for teachers at $35. For information about the Environmental Living Skills course, call Anna or Corky at 703-847-0710
