DESCRIPTION: Costumed guides escort groups through the large 6 room Victorian farm house. Students see a working farm that depicts 19th century farm life. Buildings include: farmer's house (once an almshouse), farm equipment, tinsmith, smokehouse, springhouse, veterinarian shop (the only such business in the U.S. in the nineteenth century), blacksmith shop, wagon, sled and crafts' workshops. Nature trail. Call ahead as early as possible to book tours, especially for the month of May.
Directions: Rt. 27, turn right on Kate Wagner Rd., left on Grist Rd., left on Center St. to museum.
