DESCRIPTION AND RESOURCES

DESCRIPTION: Butler's Orchard is a working farm which provides hands-on experiences, tours with a seasonal focus, lectures, and take-home produce for school groups. Pumpkin tours are available in October; pick your own raspberries (and maybe apples) tours are available in September. A blossom tour may be available in May. The pumpkin tour, 3Pumpkinland,2 includes a visit to a pumpkin display, a stroll through the field to learn how pumpkins grow, the opportunity for each child to select and take home a pumpkin, a walk through the Twisted Pumpkin Maze, a walk through the Straw Maze, "Barnyard Buddies" (a petting zoo), jumping in the hayloft barn and a tractor-driven hayride. Reserve as early as possible. For inclement weather, it will be necessary to reschedule.
