DESCRIPTION AND RESOURCES

DESCRIPTION: The center adapts programs to the teacher's curriculum and activities in classroom. Reservations are required. There are indoor exhibits of reptiles, amphibians, and fish; native and speciality gardens; honeybee colony; miles of hiking trails; puppet theater; and the children's discovery room. Dress for the weather. The center should have a honey bee colony. Call in Aug. or Sept. for a fall visit. Schedule your visit as far ahead as possible. Next to Brookside Gardens.
