DESCRIPTION AND RESOURCES

DESCRIPTION: The Maritime Museum is a cornerstone of the National Historic Seaport, a joint program with the USS Constellation, the Museum of Industry, Top of the World and the Water Taxi. Clarify the fees when making arrangements. There are new programs at the museum, including "Nautical Evolution and Maritime Math with a math and science focus or "Time Travellers" with a social studies focus. Each of these trips lasts between 4 and 4 1/2 hours and the cost of each for a class of 30 is $450-$500. In addition the following are available: "America at Sea" for 2 hours at a cost of $50 for a group of 15, "Science and the Sailor" for 4 hours at a cost of $80 for a group of 15 plus 2 adults, and "Lightship and Lighthouse" for grades K-2, for 1 1/2 hours at a cost of $50 for a group of 15 plus 2 adults.
