DESCRIPTION AND RESOURCES

DESCRIPTION:With roughly 15,000 airports in the United States, BWI is the nation's 28th largest, handling over 10 million domestic and international passengers a year.

Students will visit 10 different areas including the cargo complex, the underground transportation center, and the fire/rescue station. They will learn about the economic importance of BWI, airport operations and activities, how to use the airport, the history of BWI, and careers in aviation and related fields. Call one month in advance. If it is necessary to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.
