DESCRIPTION:This is a reconstructed 19th century middle class home. Costumed staff recreate the lives of wheelwright John Hutchinson, his wife, 3 daughters, a free African American servant, and 2 boarders. There are live dramatic presentations. This house is part of the Baltimore City Life Museums. It is included in the following educational programs: "A 19th Century Day," "A Day at the Museums," "Archaeologists as Detectives," "Life in the City," and "My Neighborhood, My World."
